Renewable energy jobsWorldwide employment in the renewable energy sector reached 12.7 million last year, a jump of 700,000 new jobs in just 12 months, despite the lingering effects of COVID-19 and the growing energy crisis, according to a new report published by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in collaboration with the UN’s International Labour Organization (ILO). |

Jane is Adjunct Professor of Employment Relations (ER) and HRM at Massey University in Aotearoa New Zealand. Her research foci include comparative ER, workplace equality, & employee consultation. Jane is an associate fellow of the Industrial Relations Research Unit (IRRU) at the University of Warwick in England, and co-director of the Massey People, Organisation, Work and Employment Research (MPOWER) Group. She has led various ILO-funded projects in the Pacific and with Eurofound, and is a senior researcher at the European Trade Union Institute (ETUI) in Brussels.
