After graduating from Galatasaray University Faculty of Law, Alper Yılmaz began his professional career as a legal counsel at Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, He has since continued his career in private practice, providing legal consultancy in labour law and industrial relations.
Currently, he works as an independent attorney, offering legal advisory services as well as conducting seminars, conferences, and in-house training programs for various institutions and organizations.
Mr. Yılmaz is a former member of the Istanbul Bar Association’s Labour Law Commission and serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Labour and Social Security Law
He has authored two books—one compiling significant Turkish labour court decisions, and another Turkish translation of the EU Artificial Intelligence Directive.
His recent research focuses on the impact of the climate crisis on labour law and the development of just transition frameworks linking social protection with green transformation
